Minus5 Ice Bar: The Coolest Experience in Las Vegas!
Minus5 Ice Bar is a unique ice attraction where guests enjoy quality vodka-based cocktails served in the beauty of an all-ice environment. Created in New Zealand, Minus5 Ice Bar is a venue where you can touch, feel and explore handcrafted ice sculptures and architecture made from 100-percent pure Canadian ice.

Named for its constant frosty temperature of -5° Celsius (23° Fahrenheit), the experience has become a top destination for corporate groups looking for something unique and different, well beyond the standard pipe-and-drape banquet hall or restaurant.

At Minus5 Ice Bar, our focus is the art of ice. A resident ice sculptor changes the bar and its sculptures every six to eight weeks to continually reinvent the experience. Sculptures often reflect seasons, locations, wildlife or even corporate logos and products for private functions. The possibilities are endless with unique custom ice art for your corporate group. Memorable displays have included the freezing of actual guns inside ice blocks for a Beretta company function and a scale model MINI Cooper completely out of ice. If you dream it, Minus5 can create it.

The Minus5 Experience
The ice experience begins with selecting an experience package. The most basic package includes gloves, boots, an insulated Minus5 Ice Bar parka, one cocktail and entry into this icy wonderland of intricately handcrafted ice sculptures and furniture. Once inside, guests instantly are amazed that the walls, tables, chairs, chandeliers, bar and even the glasses are made from ice—more than 18 tons of it.

Guests sip on cocktails made with premium vodkas in custom ice glasses made from New Zealand artesian water while they relax on deerskin-covered ice couches. Exploring the Ice Bar, they enjoy numerous ice sculptures on display, including an eight-foot polar bear and a Mount Rushmore replica. Sound and a spectacular LED light show complete the submersion into this celebration of ice.

Once guests have gotten their “chill” of enjoying cocktails, they are greeted and uncoated by Ice Bar staff and welcomed into the Lodge Bar. With a warm, Aspen-ski lodge feel, it is the perfect place to sit back, relax and warm back up with the sounds of a crackling fire and a fully stocked bar with specialty cocktails or your favorite drink.

Guests also can enjoy the Minus5 chef’s gourmet food, such as mini chicken skewers, mojito crab cakes and jalapeño wantons. For corporate events, the chef can fashion custom creations, such as ornate cheese displays, or provide chef-dedicated action stations to give your guests the full experience of fantastic food to complement their frost-filled memories.

It’s one thing to experience something so cool; it’s another to share that experience with friends and family so professional photographers are on-hand to capture this one-of-a-kind experience at Minus5 Ice Bar Las Vegas. Printed photos await guests at the end of the tour along with an opportunity to purchase anything from an Eskimo hat to the “coolest” Minus5 Ice Bar clothing gear.

Minus5 Ice Bar first opened its doors in Las Vegas in September 2008 at Mandalay Place in the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. The opening of this location eclipsed the previous Minus5 Ice Bar venues worldwide not only in size but also in artistic impression, certainly making it Las Vegas’ best way to chill out with friends in the heart of the desert.
