Despite its club wielding name, Defending the Caveman is a worldwide, rock-solid tour-de-force. This blockbuster has won the hearts of millions in more than 35 countries, has been translated into 16 languages, has been seen by more than 8 million people worldwide and is the perfect entertainment element for your next meeting.

This hilariously insightful show about the ongoing misunderstandings between men and women has both sexes roaring with laughter and recognition. With hysterical looks into contemporary feminism, masculine sensitivity and the erogenous zone, Defending the Caveman mines the common themes in relationships that go straight to the funny bone.

Its “outrageously funny and surprisingly sweet exploration of the gender gap” (Chicago Sun Times) has made Defending the Caveman a comic phenomenon (New York Times).

Comedian Rob Becker wrote Defending the Caveman during a three-year period in which he made an informal study of anthropology, prehistory, psychology, sociology and mythology resulting in a hit that has been seen by more than 8 million people.

Defending the Caveman is the longest running solo play in Broadway history and is now a celebrated success in Las Vegas. Debuting in June 2007, Defending the Caveman has been performed more than 800 times to sold-out audiences eager to experience this “laugh out loud funny” (The Sacramento Bee) performance.

Ideal for mixed-company crowds, Defending the Caveman can entertain the toughest of critics by celebrating a theme that everyone can relate to: relationships. “The hilarity of Caveman – and it IS hilarious – comes from keenly observed details, from truth. Caveman makes us howl at ourselves, whether we’re male or female” (The Miami Herald). Conventioneers will enjoy discussing the details of Caveman long after the curtain is drawn, providing lighthearted banter and thoughtful discussion.

Performed entirely by one actor, Defending the Caveman compares men to a primal hunter who targets his prey, zeroing in for the kill – like modern man does with the television and the remote. On the other hand, women are gatherers, taking in large amounts of information, taking time to select the perfect fruits and berries – like modern women do when they shop!

Comedian Kevin Burke stars in the Las Vegas run of Defending the Caveman. A seasoned comedic stage actor, playwright and director, Burke has starred in the Broadway tour of Defending the Caveman since 2003 and continues to charm audiences in the entertainment capital of the world. Burke was recently named Las Vegas Entertainer of the Year for his work in Defending the Caveman and has performed in the show more than 1,500 times.
