About the Company:
Bootleg Canyon Flightlines is a zip line attraction that was built by Greenheart LLC, a company who specializes in “no trace aerial systems,” around the world. Greenheart recently opened Flightline at the San Diego Zoo's Wild Animal Park with part of the net revenue going to support the California Condor re-generation program. Greenheart also built Labadee Zipline in Haiti for Royal Caribbean, the Cross River State Canopy Walkway in Nigeria, Iwokrama Canopy Walkway in Guyana and they own and operate the Greenheart Canopy Walkway at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver as part of a sustainable educational tourism project.
Greenheart developed Bootleg Canyon Flightlines in Boulder City as part of their effort to create sustainable and profitable parks around the world. The Bootleg Canyon Project was developed to demonstrate the value of investing in nature and to provide guests with a unique ride experience using the sensation of flight.
The zip line consists of several lines that make up 4 flight paths that stretch over one and a half miles. Small groups begin at the top of Red Mountain and ride the zip lines down at speeds of up to 50 mph. This is safely done while being secured by professional guides, in a para-gliding harness. The total experience takes about two and a half hours.
