What Happens at Lake Las Vegas Resort Doesn’t Stay at Lake Las Vegas Resort - Summerfest at Loews Invites Families to Make Lifelong Memories
For Immediate Release:
Lake Las Vegas, NV (Summer 2009) – Families won’t need to gamble on where to go for fun this summer. Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort’s Summerfest celebration offers a smoke-free, sin-free (and stay two nights get the third night free) vacation where the odds are always in your favor.

From Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend, SummerFest will be turning Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort into an oasis of fun. Summer activities will enhance the popular Loews Loves Kids program, and will provide both entertaining and educational adventures for family members of all ages.

Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort is a destination built for recreation— located on a lake, just down the street from Lake Mead, with a separate pool for fun and activities, a Loews Loves Kids program, and added additional programs indoors and out. “We are the only property in the greater Las Vegas area that specifically caters to families,” said Managing Director Dale McDaniel. “Because of our location, our structure and our family philosophies, we are able to make SummerFest an event that appeals to children while still providing a little peace and quiet for adults.”

SummerFest 2009 activities include:
  • Kids’ Concierge – During key check-in times, a special welcome desk invites children to check into the hotel, receive a gift, and talk with the Kids’ Concierge about all of the activities at the resort and in the area, and even sign up for special activity times.
  • SushiSKool – Master Sushi Chef, Chef “Fuji” Fujita, will guide kids through a delicious class full of food, fish, and fun! Parents can hang out, watch and enjoy with our “Maki Mommies” all you can eat sushi and wine special, or sign up for adults-only Sushi & Sake classes the second Saturday of the month. Reservations are required in advance. $20 per child.

This year, Loews Hotels is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Fisher Price Little People brand with birthday parties during Kids Club sessions. Kids attending will receive a special Little People Birthday Box with a cupcake, Fisher-Price Little People DVD, including five episodes plus three party songs, and a Little People activity booklet
