Cinco de Mayo Starts First at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino Tex-Mex fest features a diverse line-up of popular performers beginning May 1

Some of the most popular Tejano bands in the world will converge at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino to kick-off the weekend leading up to Cinco de Mayo. Beginning May 1, a Tex-Mex festival at the Rio Pavilion will celebrate a range of folk and popular regional music and feature well-known groups such as Little Joe y La Familia, Charlie Rich, Jr. and Flaco Jimenez.
David Lee Garza y Los Musicales, Roberto Pulido y Los Clasicos, Chente Barrera, Tobias Rene and Gabe Nieto & Jalapeno Express will kick-off the festival on Friday, May 1 at 8 p.m. and Little Joy y La Familia, Flanco Jimenez, Augie Meyers, Charlie Rich Jr. and Ruben Ramos & The Mexican Revolution will wrap-up the festival on Saturday, May 2 at 8 p.m.
