The Palm Raised the Bar on Happy Hour. Its Prime times and Palm Bar is the Place to Be.
For Immediate Release:
(WASHINGTON, D.C.; September 17, 2009) --- For budget conscious guests who enjoy the good life, The Palm introduces their new bar concept, Palm Bar, featuring their new Prime Bites™ bar menu, available at wallet-friendly prices during The Palm’s all-new happy hour, Prime TimeSM .

The casual and friendly setting of Palm Bars makes it the ideal location for guests to unwind after a long day in the office, before heading to the theater or a sporting event – or simply to enjoy the tempting Prime Bites™ menu during Prime TimeSM, Monday through Friday from 5pm to 7pm then again after 9pm. During Prime TimeSM, Palm Bar offers a variety of signature Prime Bites™ at just $3.50 a plate, including Kobe Beef Sliders, Filet Mignon Capri Sandwiches, Mini Broiled Crab Cakes, “Point Judith” Calamari Fritti and more. Guests can also enjoy a raw bar, including Oysters on the Half Shell for $1 a piece and Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail for $2 a piece during Prime TimeSM.

“Like many other fine dining restaurants, the slow down of the economy in the U.S. has been a challenge,” says CEO John Bettin. “Employee lay-offs, expense account cuts, decrease in convention and business travel, have had a direct correlation with our business. We are confident in meeting these challenges by continuing to offer our guests a great value without compromising the quality and power of The Palm brand.”

While The Palm has revamped their bars with flat screen TVs, overhead music, and custom-tailored uniforms for their bar staff, they still emanate their renowned classic hospitality in an inviting atmosphere filled with hearty handshakes and warm smiles from their gregarious staff and familiar guests and, as always, abuzz with a sea of conversation and laughter celebrating the best of everything.

“We’re officially kicking off the new bar concept with our national Palm Bar launch party,” says Bruce Bozzi, Jr. Executive Vice President and fourth generation family member of the Palm Restaurant Group. “On September 23rd we invite our loyal fans on Facebook, members of our 837 Club and new guests to try our entire Prime Bites™ menu from 5:30 pm to 7pm, compliments of The Palm. It will be the tastiest celebration of the year!” Mr. Bozzi, Jr. also retains the alias of PalmStkMan as The Palm’s official micro-blogger on Twitter.
