Meetings and Events Las Vegas Magazine Debuts Its Second Edition

January 30, 2009, Las Vegas -- Meeting Planner Resources debuted its second edition of Meetings and Events Las Vegas with a launch party in the new LAVO nightclub, bathhouse and restaurant located in the Palazzo tower of the Venetian Hotel.
More than 100 local hospitality experts mingled with each other and about 50 local and out-of-state business meeting planners (BMPs). The event mirrors the philosophy of Meetings and Events Las Vegas as well that of Associate Publisher, Jennifer Mahar. “Bringing together people to do business with each other is my passion and is the goal of all of our efforts here in Las Vegas,” said Mahar.
“What we are most excited about is rolling out our new Convention Partner program in the coming months. By working closely with many of the city’s top conventions, Meetings and Events Las Vegas will be widely used as inserts for national and international trade show exhibitors to allow them to make the most effective use of the available time for satellite meetings while they are attending their conventions and trade shows.”
Meetings and Events Las Vegas is currently distributed biannually to 40,000 BMPs, corporate executives with annual budgets exceeding $250,000) in feeder cities and utilizes the distribution network created by local Meeting Planner Directories published by Meeting Planner Resources.
