New at the Flamingo Las Vegas, Center Cut Steakhouse features mouthwatering steaks and other dishes ranging from succulent appetizers to decadent desserts. Across from the Flamingo Wildlife Habitat, the venue accommodates up to 172 guests in the main restaurant, private dining room, large bar and lounge area. The venue’s black-and-white décor with pink accents provides a classic Vegas atmosphere that is accented by plasma screens throughout the space that pay homage to the history of the Flamingo on the Strip with photomontages from the 1940s to present day.

New in Downtown Las Vegas is a venture by former Las Vegas Mayor Oscar B. Goodman. Aptly named Oscar’s Beef * Booze * Broads, this uniquely Las Vegas steakhouse inside the dome of the Plaza Las Vegas overlooks Fremont Street and features aged steaks cooked perfectly over a 600°F grill. Oscar’s décor incorporates memorabilia from Goodman’s 12-year tenure as mayor and photographs of Las Vegas through the years. As far as “booze,” Oscar’s famous bar serves a variety of deliciously handcrafted cocktails, including Goodman’s signature drink: martinis. Dinner at Oscar’s also includes visits from beautiful “broads” who socialize with guests and discuss politics, sports, wine, Las Vegas history or things to do around town.

New at Paris Las Vegas is Gordon Ramsay Steak, the celebrity chef’s latest venture. The new restaurant is home to the current season of his popular show Hell’s Kitchen, the winner of which will earn the restaurant’s coveted head chef position. Restaurants by celebrity chefs

The Food Network, the Cooking Channel, Bravo and even the Travel Channel have put celebrity chefs and their restaurants firmly on the culinary map to be sought-after by fans and discerning food critics alike. Las Vegas has become a magnet for these famous food fashioners who bring their innovative culinary creations to the table for one-of-a-kind experiences.

Host of Made in Spain on PBS and credited with introducing Americans to the Spanish cuisine spectrum, Chef José Andrés has two restaurants at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas offering authentic Spanish flavors. At China Poblano, Andrés brings noodles and tacos together in an entirely new concept that showcases the chef’s take on Chinese and Mexican cuisines. The original Jaleo in Washington, DC, was one of the first successful Spanish tapas restaurants in the United States. The award-winning Jaleo’s Las Vegas location retains all the flavors of the original in décor reimagined in true Vegas style. Tucked almost secretly away within Jaleo is é, an intimate “restaurant within a restaurant” with a set degustation menu served from a rounded kitchen bar where a team of chefs hands dishes directly to diners.

Best known as the head judge of Bravo’s Top Chef, five-time James Beard Award–winning Chef Tom Colicchio values simple preparation of fresh ingredients. In Las Vegas at the MGM Grand, Colicchio’s classic American steakhouse Craftsteak offers cuts of Kobe and Wagyu beef as well as fresh vegetables from small family farms. Colicchio insists on creating menu items that burst with flavor best complemented with his extensive California-focused wine list and more than 200 Bourbon and Scotch labels.
