Planning a meeting in Las Vegas or attending a convention in Las Vegas and having to organize satellite events?
Little Known Venues and Well Known Convention Centers
Diners can choose from Aria’s 16 restaurants with concepts from the world’s most critically acclaimed chefs and restaurateurs. The easily accessible Crystals, CityCenter’s shopping, dining and nightlife district, gives Aria’s guests more options with 500,000 plus square feet of the world’s most elite luxury brands and high-end couture and dynamic dining concepts.

Keeping meeting planners in mind, ARIA provides 300,000 square feet of technologically advanced meeting and pre-function space. Three levels of flexible space feature four ballrooms which range in size from 20,000 to 51,000 square feet and three offer fully functioning theatrical stages. Two executive boardrooms and a Business Services Center complement the larger space with private areas and business necessities. Logistically, multiple loading docks, drive-in ramps, and magavators help make set up and teardown fast and efficient. Requirements such as video conferencing, theatrical lighting fixtures, a built-in overhead audio system, digital consoles, and a technical staff help to ensure successful events go off without a hitch.

Vdara Hotel and Spa
Continuing the CityCenter theme, Vdara Hotel and Spa was built from a collaboration of unrivaled designers, artists and creators starting with world-renowned architect Raphael Viñoly. Setting the tone as soon as guests arrive is a prominent piece of fine art at the Front Desk by Frank Stella and the spectacular works by Peter Wegner, created specifically for the Concierge Lobby.

Those staying overnight at Vdara will be treated to a stylish environment infused with luxury, open floor plans, contemporary interior spaces including kitchens, and the latest technology. The all-suite hotel’s guest rooms have been devised as retreats centered in a sophisticated atmosphere. The pleasantries of home, modern amenities, and a turndown service all add up to a truly calming place to call your own while traveling for a short or extended stay.

An experienced staff handles meetings held at Vdara in the flexibly designed event spaces with nature elements contributing as a sub-text. Over 10,000 square feet of ground-level conference space provides a convenient and intimate setting for smaller groups from 10 to 300 guests. The latest technology like patchable fiber, Ethernet, IPTV, broadband and wireless capabilities have been enabled to match the contemporarily designed space with equally modern audio and visual devices to ensure your meeting is a success.

During non-meeting hours, Vdara meeting and event attendees can shop at Crystals which houses a stunning collection of the world’s most elite and celebrated brands or visit the fine shops and boutiques inside Bellagio via the pedestrian walkway. Guest have the privilege of hitting the links at Shadow Creek, one of the nation’s most exclusive and top-rated golf courses with a greens fee that includes limousine transportation to and from the golf course, a caddy and golf cart. Spa & Salon Vdara is another means to post-meeting relaxation with a sanctuary that spotlights holistic health and well-being in an intimate environment. Overall, the Vdara experience offers something for everyone.

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas
On a mid-December evening in 2010, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas opened its doors to the public for the first time ever, and in doing so ushered in a new normal for upscale hotel properties. Located on 8.7 acres between MGM Resort International’s Bellagio and the multi-billion dollar CityCenter complex, the Cosmopolitan has not had any trouble with neighboring competition. The hotel features 2,995 condo-style hotel rooms, 275,000 square feet of retail, restaurant, and entertainment space, an 1,800 seat theater, a 50,000 square foot spa and fitness center, a 100,000 square foot casino, and more than 150,000 square feet of convention and meeting space.

The $3.9-billion hotel and casino features art as an underlying theme throughout the property. Visitors and those simply passing by will first see the 65 foot high definition television marquee that plays two minute art videos every 15 minutes. Once inside, eight large columns display various videos that focus on artistic works instead of marketing campaigns. The effect brings art to life as a singular focus in a luxurious surrounding. The hotel is so committed to art as the focal point that it is home to the P3Studtio which supports an artist in residency program. Understated elements like the art-o-mat machine, a retired cigarette vending machine that has been converted to dispense art, makes original pieces available at an accessible price. Those making use of the parking garages will notice the walls adorned with art by local graffiti artists, taking the pretentious out of
a classy hotel.

Unlike hotel rooms that are identical in every way, each guest room at The Cosmopolitan has different design features which make them unique. From the wall papered closets to the provided in room books, all vary from room to room. The condo-style floor plans include 600 plus square foot studios and 900 plus square foot one-bedroom hotel units, both have a private terrace for attractive city views.

Maximizing the beautiful Strip views further is the district of 3 distinct Las Vegas pool experiences with Boulevard Pool, Bamboo Pool, and Day Club Pool. Boulevard Pool sits on the East Deck with multi-levels of intimately-spaced lounge chairs and daybeds. Bamboo Pool is less of a social scene than the Boulevard Pool and reflects the desert landscape soothing environment with a private canyon-like feel. The Day Club Pool serves as an extension of the nightclub vibe complete with cabana, living quarters and a party deck on top.
