The Bellagio houses three art galleries that can be booked for cocktail parties, receptions and special events.
  • Featuring original fine art photography of natural landscapes, glass sculptures and unique furnishings, the Jeff Mitchum Gallery has a 50-guest cap-acity in its 1,200-square-foot space. It can be booked any time with expanded accommodations up to 200 available for an additional fee. The space offers a fully integrated audiovisual system and a 60-inch monitor for media presentations.
  • The Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art (BGFA) offers 3,000 square feet of space with a 250-guest capacity in its gallery, atrium and reception areas. BGFA showcases exhibitions of original artwork from acclaimed museums and private collections, which guests can view during the event. BGFA may be rented for a base fee after operating hours, but early gallery closure is available for an additional cost.
  • Located in the O™ Theatre lobby, the Richard MacDonald Gallery features original collections of work by figurative sculptors. With 8,200 square feet, it hosts a capacity of 300 amid art and ambiance and can be personalized for any group’s specific needs. Availability inlcudes dark days (Monday and Tuesday) and until 6:30 p.m. on show nights (Wednesday through Sunday).

For all galleries, Bellagio Catering provides optional tailored-menu options, decorations and music.

The Carroll Shelby Museum proves that art doesn’t only hang on walls. Located near the Las Vegas Speedway, this ever-changing museum features some of the most famous cars ever produced, from the first Cobra CSX2000 to prototypes of the Series 1, Shelby GT-H, Terlingua and GT500KR. Home to Shelby American, a premier performance car company committed to delivering cars and products with an unparalleled driving experience, the company created the museum for car enthusiasts to stop in and take a look at the dreams of the past and the future. For private functions, the facility provides tents outside for up to 400 people or small gatherings up to 50 people inside the museum itself.

Madame Tussauds Las Vegas brings more than 100 of the world’s hottest celebrities, politicians, athletes and legends to your event. The venue features seven themed rooms full of interactive experiences with its lifelike wax figures. Tussauds is available for complete buyout of the 30,000-square-foot space on two levels to host up to 1,000 guests. Alternatively, groups can rent just one room for a reception of up to 150 guests. Tussauds provides full technological capabilities and customizable menus for any taste and budget as well as entertainment, ranging from the wax figures to celebrity look-alikes, live performers or DJs.

Whether it is a slide presentation, cocktail reception or training session, the Marjorie Barrick Museum at the University of Nevada–Las Vegas puts your event at the heart of creative energy and artistic ambiance of its collection and rotating exhibits. The Barrick Museum offers four diverse spaces to rent. The auditorium has 140 seats and offers a full spectrum of audiovisual capabilities, but food and drink are not permitted. The lobby space accommodates about 100 people for catered events or cocktail receptions. The exhibit hall is available for both standing and seated events, accommodating up to 500 people standing with reduced capacity depending on table setup. For small receptions and events in an outdoor setting, Barrick offers its patio/Xeric Garden.

The brand-new Martin Lawrence Galleries at the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace is possibly the biggest art gallery in the United States with about 27,000 square feet of gallery, exhibition and event space in all. The 11th Martin Lawrence Galleries location, the gallery showcases both original and limited-edition artwork by bestselling contemporary artists as well as major fine artwork by modern masters. Its soaring 80-foot ceilings, a 20-foot tall neon “Art” sign, huge “guillotine” walls that can be raised and lowered, an enormous projection wall and a full sound system make this a great option for large-scale meetings or receptions.

Take an educational journey into the past to appreciate the present by hosting a gathering or team-building event at the Las Vegas Natural History Museum. Dedicated to educating people about the natural sciences and creating an understanding of the world’s wildlife, ecosystems and cultures, the museum offers its space to energize your group. The space is ideal for an interactive walk-around event through the exhibits, or the museum has limited space to accommodate seated receptions up to 200 people; however, catering must be provided by an outside source.

The Mob Museum offers an interactive experience dedicated to the history of organized crime and law enforcement. Presenting a bold, authentic view of organized crime’s impact on Las Vegas and beyond, this 3-D history book provides a fun and unique setting for special events. The museum is located inside a historic former U.S. Post Office and federal courthouse that held organized-crime hearings in 1950. Offering 16,800 square feet of exhibition space on three floors, The Mob Museum finds its ideal home in one of the few remaining historically significant buildings in Las Vegas, a town with a thick history of mob ties.

Currently undergoing renovations with a projected completion by June 2012, the Neon Museum of Las Vegas, will offer a quirky, unique space to host corporate events and private functions. The Neon Museum is dedicated to collecting, preserving and exhibiting the history of neon signs, an ongoing staple of the Las Vegas world. Once rehabilitation of its new home is completed, the historic La Concha Motel will feature a visitors’ center, offices and other facilities, including space for booking events so the brightness of the neon world can shine on.
