Planning a meeting in Las Vegas or attending a convention in Las Vegas and having to organize satellite events?
Getting to and Around Las Vegas
Although the Las Vegas Monorail does not operate on a preset schedule, trains arrive approximately every 4–12 minutes depending on the number of trains in operation, which is based on anticipated ridership levels that are monitored. Service is adjusted accordingly, and station announcements notify pending train arrivals. Once on board, passengers quickly are connected to world-class resorts, hotels and casinos, shops, restaurants, entertainment venues and the Las Vegas Convention Center at up to 50 miles per hour.

— Tickets to Ride
Tickets for riding the Las Vegas Monorail can be purchased at the automated touch-screen ticket vending machines conveniently located at each monorail station entrance, inside the monorail station resort properties and the Central and South Halls at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Although ticket prices are subject to change, and online fares and station ticket prices may vary, as of this publication, a standard Single-Ride Ticket was $5, an Unlimited One-Day Pass was $12 and an Unlimited Three-Day Pass was $28. Always check the website at
www.lvmonorail.com to confirm the most up-to-date prices.

Once purchased, the tickets are good for one year from the date they are printed so they do not have to be used immediately. However, a Single-Ride Ticket loses its value as soon as the ride is taken and the Unlimited One-Day and Three-Day Passes expire 24 hours and 72 hours, respectively, from their first use during operational hours.

The monorail operates 365 days a year, 19 hours a day during the week and 20 hours a day Friday through Sunday. So next time you or your meeting attendees feel like taking the Strip at their own pace, consider taking a ride in elevated style on the fabulous Las Vegas Monorail.
